CelPlan Technologies and Wireless 20/20 Announce Suite of LTE Deployment Planning Tools
Combined Suite of Business Planning, Network Design and Rollout Planning Solutions Supports Operators Evaluating LTE Networks.
Cornwall on Hudson, NY – February 10, 2009 – CelPlan® Technologies, Inc. (www.celplan.com), provider of Radio Frequency (RF) planning and optimization tools and engineering services to the wireless industry, and Wireless 20/20, LLC (formerly WiMAX 20/20, LLC) (www.wireless2020.com), announce upgrades to their current planning tools to support the emerging LTE standard. Wireless 20/20’s WiROI™ Business Case Tool now includes support for LTE, as well as WiMAX and other broadband wireless technologies. CelPlan’s LTE Network Design software enables operators to begin the process of planning deployments. Combined, these tools provide a comprehensive suite of business planning, network design, optimization, rollout and management solutions for operators considering or planning out future LTE network deployments.
CelPlan Technologies is providing enhanced support for LTE in their Next Generation Network Planning Tools, a suite of tools for planning, optimizing and maintaining OFDMA based networks. This latest version will allow operators to better evaluate how and when to best rollout LTE networks. Over 100 operators worldwide already trust CelPlan Technologies to assist in the development of their OFDMA based networks. For network operators planning an LTE deployment or evaluating an investment in an LTE network, the services and expertise of CelPlan coupled with the WiROI Tool will provide all the necessary means to build accurate and convincing business cases and complete the network development cycle - from planning to a successful build out.
The award-winning WiROI™ Business Case Tool has been upgraded to support LTE operators, and allows them to customize a business case analysis for their target markets. The tool accepts a wide range of market data, technical parameters, and financial and service planning inputs that can be tailored to a particular geography. The WiROI™ Tool can simulate an LTE network deployment and operation using a variety of service plans and produces a detailed 10 year income statement, financial output graphs, and key financial metrics. In addition, the WiROI™ Tool has an easy-to-use, interactive, dashboard-style Graphical User Interface (GUI) to enable the user to perform sensitivity analysis in real-time and view the results in an animated format instantly.
